Precious One

This is my dear Georgette- a young and beautiful seven year old little girl. She is what we consider a "congenital VVF". Her father quite the university and started farming just to put all of his money into her treatment. They visited doctor after doctor. It was last year that he was told of Mercy Ships and the surgeries we provide for VVF patients.

What else can you say? Absolutely precious...

She has been my little shadow as I've worked. One day all it took was for me to offer her a pair of gloves like mine and from there on, she was by my side.

One of my favorite memories of her? 1) When we put "Jonah and the Whale" stickers on her Foley bag and 2) Watching her put it over her shoulder and carry it around as a purse! :)
